How To Enjoy The Ultimate Spa Experience

Who can guide me in chosing my treatments?
Our Spa Reservation Department will help you plan the perfect spa experience, including the best order for your treatments.

What if I have special health considerations?
Please notify our Spa Reservation Department before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any physical ailments or disabilities or if you are pregnant. If you have any concern at all, please let us know. If at any time during your services you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately.

When should I arrive?
For your enhanced comfort and relaxation, we suggest that you arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This will allow you to relax in our lounges, saunas, steam rooms and plunge pools. Arriving late will possibly interfere with your treatment time so therefore the treatment may not be as effective or therapeutic for you. All appointments will end at their scheduled time so that the next guest will not be delayed.

What should I wear during my treatment?
Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing. However, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Before and after your treatment, robes and slippers are provided in lockers in the men's and women's lounges. Hydrotherapy treatments require a bathing suit.

Should I shave before a treatment?
Shaving is recommended but not necessary for men prior to a facial. If you do choose to shave prior to your facial, be sure to do so at least two (2) hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Shaving is not recommended prior to any body treatments or hair removal services.

What if I am late for my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be applied.

What is the cancellation policy?
If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us four (4) hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged the full service fee. Cancellations of packages or private parties require a 24-hour notice. A credit card or room number is required at the time you book your treatments.

What about gratuities?
For your convenience, a 20% service charge will be added for each Spa service you receive. Gratuities will be dispersed to the Spa staff who served you during your visit.

What about payment for Spa services?
We accept all major credit cards and traveler's checks. You may also charge Spa services to your hotel bill. For your convenience, payment is accepted prior to your treatments.

What if I am pregnant?
While there are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, there are many beneficial treatments that can be enjoyed. Please notify our Spa Desk Agents if you are pregnant when you make your appointments so that they can offer guidance.

Are Gift Certificates available from The Spa?
Absolutely. You may purchase Spa Gift Certificates for a specific dollar amount or for particular services. The Spa Gift Certificates can be used towards services or towards purchases in our Spa Boutique.
